Scope and Contents

The Mary Anne Cross-Ehasz papers contain documents, projects, and memorabilia from Ehasz's time as a student at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The collection includes copies of Ehasz's design which served as the official seal of the university from 1956-1966. Several photographs of students, as well as photographs for student projects, are also in the collection.

Memorabilia includes an ashtray souvenir from the 1956 Senior Banquet, a ceramic souvenir from the 1957 Senior Banquet, and an RIT sweatshirt from 1953.

The collection also contains documents related to Ehasz's scholarship, copies of the RIT Reporter from 1957 and Gamma Epsilon Tau's Calypso Courier from 1956-1957.

Biographical Note

Mary Ann Cross-Ehasz attended the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) from 1953-1957. As a student in the Department of Art and Design, Ehasz designed a seal for RIT that was used as the official seal of the university from 1956-1966. Ehasz graduated from the university with an A.A.S. in 1956 and a B.F.A. in 1957.

Collection of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) memorabilia (1953-1957) donated by Mary Anne Cross-Ehasz who graduated from RIT in 1957. She designed the official seal for the university that was used from 1956-1966. The collection includes photographs, design projects, and campus newspapers, as well as RIT memorabilia such as a sweatshirt, ashtray, and toothpick holder.
