Materials in this series portray the strong use of films by Tripod in the form of documentaries, fundraiser premiers, events, as well as coverage in the media. Much of the media with movie names, for example The Grand Canyon and Dances with Wolves are actually short films about the school that was shown prior to the named feature film.
