Materials in the Frank Caccamise papers relate to the application and development of sign language, its assessment, and instruction. Books in the collection cover the teaching and instruction of sign language, Proceedings of the National Symposium on Sign Language Research and Teaching (1977, 1978, 1981, and 1986), and children's books written by Caccamise while working as an audiologist with deaf children in California in the early 1970s. Instructional VHS tapes and DVDs on sign language are also present.
