Series 1902 ten dollar bill issued by the First National Bank of East Rochester, NY, which was chartered in 1911. It was the 10141 national bank chartered. As a national bank note it carries the signature of the bank cashier, V.D. Archer, and the bank's president, Kate Gleason, at the time it was issued. Kate was president of the bank from August 1918 to January 1920, so that dates the time of issuance of the note. [information supplied by donor]
