Lights On! Deaf Theatre

Karen Christie collection of play scripts and conference brochures contains 17 programs from conferences for the Deaf held between 1991-2012. Also included in the collection are scripts from nine plays written by various authors for NTID theater and Rochester Community Lights On!

Documents related to the Lights On! Deaf Theatre group, a Rochester based organization dedicated to deaf theater. The collection contains administrative documents for the organization, such as bylaws, meeting minutes, and budgeting materials, as well as newsletters and correspondence. Also included are scripts and materials related to each production, such as playbills, schedules, floor plans, production notes, photographs, and video recordings.

Documents related to the Nancy Cantabene collection on Lights On! a Deaf theatre group, based out of Rochester, NY. The materials within the Lights On! Deaf Theatre collection pertains to the various plays that were produced.

The materials in this collection are comprised of eight scripts of plays performed by the Lights On! theater group and five VHS videotapes. The items were collected and donated by Patricia Durr an associate professor at NTID.
