Oral interpreting/transliterating materials collection
Materials related to training of oral interpreters of the deaf for deaf people who prefer oral means of communication and do not use sign language. The collection includes DVDs, VHS tapes, books, notebooks, brochures, and newsletters.
PAH! Deaf TV collection
The PAH! Deaf TV collection contains VHS tapes and DVD recordings of various programs created and produced by NTID students, presented in American Sign Language (ASL). The programs in this collection were made between 1994-1999.
Patti Durr collection of scripts and videotapes
The materials in this collection are comprised of eight scripts of plays performed by the Lights On! theater group and five VHS videotapes. The items were collected and donated by Patricia Durr an associate professor at NTID.
Patti Durr collection on Deaf Holocaust Survivors
Patti Durr’s filmed interviews and transcripts she conducted with deaf survivors of the Holocaust, as well as copies of two films created from the interviews. Also included are copies of older interviews conducted by Simon Carmel, former NTID faculty.
