The Rochester Athenaeum and Mechanics Institute ashtray was donated by 1943 graduate Ann Gustin Zetterlind. It is made of a copper colored metal, is circular in shape and has the Mechanics Institute (MI) insignia stamped in the bottom.

Walter W. Taylor collection
The Walter W. Taylor collection consists of three items donated by the son of RIT alumni Walter Taylor, Paul Taylor in 2010. The items include a banner, Mechanical Arts drawings and a photo album. These items were collected by Walter W. Taylor when he was a student at the Mechanics Institute around 1905.
