Collection on Robert McFarlane -William A. Kern Professor in Communications
A collection of eight audiocassette tapes documenting the speeches of Robert McFarlane who visited RIT in 1986 and twice in 1987 as the William A. Kern Professor in Communications. Also included in the collection is correspondence, clippings, and articles about his lectures.
Kern Program collection
Materials related to the Kern Program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The endowed program was meant to "stimulate creativity in all areas of the communicative arts." The collection contains documents related to specific programs, as well as to individual Kern professors. Also included are 33 videotapes of various lectures sponsored by the program.
RIT Department of Communication records
The collection includes various correspondence, promotions, handbooks and curriculum information related to the Department of Communication at RIT which is part of the College of Liberal Arts.
